Who We Are
Living Better Lives is a non-profit organization that strives to enrich the lives of disadvantaged youth in the United States and abroad by providing necessary resources and programs to improve personal and academic development that will help steer them toward success.
Our culture enriched programs are designed to improve the lives of today’s youth through arts education and community outreach. All of our members take part in serving their community.
At Living Better Lives, we present community-driven art projects, workshops, on-going classes, programs, summer camps, and academic support services to youth and young adults, ranging from ages 7-20. Through our programs, we create awareness by building engaging, arts-driven programs that focus on education, literacy, music, technology, film, and theater.

Heart Drum Workshop: West African drumming, dance, the building of drums, learning of the culture, and West Africa Tours & Master drum and dance class
Behind the Pages: 6-week creative writing and storytelling program
Lovetree Theater: 6-week dramatic play program
Mindful Movement: Health, Fitness, Yoga, and Meditation for all Ages
MNTR By Design: 12- week personal development and leadership program
Technology: Coding for Kids, a game-based curriculum that teaches teamwork, logic, math, critical thinking, and problem-solving.
TheArtinMe: 8-12 week program that uses art based curriculums to assist kids in creative expression, build bonding connections within the family, and resilience.
Youth Media Productions: Multimedia, music, film, and screenwriting development for teens
H.E.A.L. (Helping Others Achieve Love) Outreach: Program to reach critically ill, chronically ill and disabled children, elderly, and veterans
UNPLUG and LIVE: A 12-14 week camp designed to bring families together. learn about nature, culture, community, art, social engagement, connection, and have fun.
Community Garden: creating access to more healthy foods in underserved communities.
