YOUTH MEDIA PRODUCTIONS

In partnership with producers, film production companies, organizations, and institutions, Youth Media Productions (YMP) is a 6-week program for youth ages 13 to 18 that teaches them how to use camera equipment, editing, film software programs, lighting and audio, media, technical production, multimedia, screenwriting, and music development for broadcast.

YMP aims to prepare youth for the digital and multimedia age. Students will learn how to write a short script and develop their own commercials. During the program, participants will have the rare opportunity to go behind the scenes of a television show or radio broadcast.
